Lacey

Office Manager

Lacey is a born a raised Calgarian who received her Degree in Zoology from the U of C. She has a particular love for felines and has worked at two feline specialty hospitals in Canada and the US. She has also worked in veterinary research studying water borne parasites and at a veterinary pathology lab. She recently returned to work after a 10 years absence from the industry to raise her two children. On the weekend  you will find her bombing around Alberta with her family with their RV trying to convince her kids that hiking is fun. She also loves to garden, read, and bake. She has an 19 year old cat named Annabelle and a hamster named Hollow.

Reception

Ashley graduated from Robertson College in 2020 from the Veterinary Office and Technical Assistant Program. Ashley has always loved animals but she has a special interest in exotic pets! She owns a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, and two rescue dogs named Rocky and Max. She is also interested in geology, comic books and and Dungeons and Dragons. Ashley loves being part of the Team at Bowmont and strives to  make it a great experience for everyone who walks though our door!

Hospital Assistant/Reception

Shelley completed the Veterinary office and technical assistant course at Robertson College in 2012, and has worked with the Bowmont clinic since completion. She enjoys keeping active with riding a bicycle, nature walks, and socializing with friends & family. Lover of all domestic and wild animals, including insects! She is dedicated to her 2 cats, Skookum and Hendrix.

Amy 

Reception/Hospital Assistant

Amy moved from Newfoundland to Calgary in 2018 and graduated from Bow Valley College in 2020. She previously worked as a health care aide. She has two rescue dogs, Aurora and Bruley, along with a rescue cat named Kitty. She enjoys spending time volunteering for animal rescues both in Calgary and Newfoundland.  She has a special interest in animal behaviour and shelter medicine. When she's not working she can be found hiking with her two dogs.
