Meet Our Admin Team
Lacey
Lacey is a born a raised Calgarian who received her BSc Degree in Zoology from the U of C. She has a particular love for felines and has worked at two feline specialty hospitals in Canada and the US. She has also worked in veterinary research studying water-borne parasites and at a veterinary pathology lab. She recently returned to work after a 10 years absence from the industry to raise her two children. On the weekends you will find her bombing around Alberta with her family in their RV trying to convince her kids that hiking is fun. She also loves to garden, read and bake. She has two rescue cats named Puma and Marley.
​Envie
Envie is a recent addition to the hospital, and is enthusiastic about growing within the clinic as a Receptionist. She grew up in a small town in central Alberta. She found her spirit in veterinary care after volunteering at several rescue shelters spending hours cleaning and tending to animals big and small. She moved to Calgary in 2024 in pursuit of a change of direction eventually landing a role as a Technician Assistant before joining Bowmont. With 3 years of experience in animal care, Envie enjoys spending her time outside the clinic at the Calgary Zoo as a regular volunteer, if she's not too caught up in horror movies and anything that goes bump in the night. At home, she adores a small dwarf bunny named Ash, with his siblings Bigfoot, and a Great Pyrenees named Polar Bear.
Kira
Kira has recently joined our team as a part-time receptionist.
Kira was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and moved to Calgary with her boyfriend and her adorable cat, Maxwell in 2022. She received her certification as a Veterinary Office Assistant from Bow Valley College in 2023.
She loves to craft, crochet, and bakes the most delicious cookies (our staff is spoiled!)
