Lacey is a born a raised Calgarian who received her Degree in Zoology from the U of C. She has a particular love for felines and has worked at two feline specialty hospitals in Canada and the US. She has also worked in veterinary research studying water borne parasites and at a veterinary pathology lab. She recently returned to work after a 10 years absence from the industry to raise her two children. On the weekend you will find her bombing around Alberta with her family with their RV trying to convince her kids that hiking is fun. She also loves to garden, read, and bake. She has an 18 year old cat named Annabelle and a hamster named Hollow.
The lovely lady manning our phones is Alysha, a native Calgarian, who got her VTA certification in 2019. She has a house full of pets! She has 4 sugar gliders named Angel, Stitch, Rueben and Ace, a corn snake named Apple Pie, a crazy energetic Border Collie named Minnie, and her two cats are named Mickey and Daisy (She is also a HUGE Disney fan if you haven't figured that out!). On the weekends you will find her hiking in the mountains with her boyfriend.
Shelley completed the Veterinary office and technical assistant course at Robertson College in 2012. Has worked with the Bowmont community since completion. She enjoys keeping active with riding a bicycle, nature walks, and socializing with friends & family. Lover of all domestic and wild animals, including insects! She is dedicated to her 2 cats, Skookum and Hendrix.
Amy moved from Newfoundland to Calgary in 2018 and graduated from Bow Valley College in 2020. She previously worked as a health care aide. She has two rescue dogs, Aurora and Bruley, along with a rescue cat named Kitty. She enjoys spending time volunteering for animal rescues both in Calgary and Newfoundland. She has a special interest in animal behaviour and shelter medicine. When she's not working she can be found hiking with her two dogs.
